I think I'm going to be taking down this site
I've received no actual communication from people on this site, which indicates to me that growing it by adding articles and stories is really a useless endeavor. As such, I think in the near future I'm going to be taking down the site and folding the domain name into one of my more vanilla pursuits.
I guess you could say that's the case with most things in my life these days. I haven't found anyone that's into D/s and looking for someone like me. Therefore, it seems like a waste to have a site like this one if no one is really reading it or really cares that it exists. I'm starting to consider the very near possibility of giving up the lifestyle completely as well. Why keep trying to pursue something that generally doesn't exist for me?

I suspect there are a lot more people reading than you're aware of. And in response to your entry, timing is everything, duane.
There are probably so many reasons why you haven't found what you're seeking and at this point I can only sum them up by saying that you need to trust in something out there that's bigger than you are. You need to believe that you deserve what you want so badly and believe that it is coming to you. A positive, trusting spirit that hopes and desires is rarely unrewarded.
Of course, I'm a positive person, hence my positive outlook. I don't know if you are. Make your dreams come true through faith, duane. You don't have anything to lose by trying it at this point, do ya? (At least not from the sounds of this entry..)

And I also agree with you that it is frustrating...looking and more looking and hoping to find that which seems not to be there.
I suspect it's actually right in front of us, but ppl are not always aware that want they truly seek in their hearts is right in front of their faces.
I encourage you not to give up because I believe you may be one of the rare ones that are worth the search. That's why I posted one of your posts on my website...because I think you have some solid ideas.
